Sunday Services
We have two services each Sunday. Communion is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of each month at both services.
Our 9am Service meets in the Church lounge and is of a more traditional nature, lasting around 45-60 minutes.
The 10.30am Service is a more contemporary, family oriented service with a mix of modern and traditional worship songs. There is also, normally, an all age talk or video, as well as children’s and young people’s groups (see below). There is also a creche available for the younger members of the family (0-3 years old). The 10.30 service finishes at around 11.30-11.45am. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served in the Church lounge after the service.
The Sanctuary is quiet after the service has finished when members of the Prayer Team are available to pray with anyone who wants them to.
Services are sometimes shorter during the school summer holidays.
Sunday Children’s and Young People’s groups
Identity, our teenage youth group, is open on Sundays and Wednesdays. On Sunday teenagers are welcome to join us for worship and leave the service for their own study just prior to the sermon, normally about 11am. We aim to finish at around about the same time as the main service. On Wednesday Identity is currently open from 7.30pm to 9.00pm (ish) in our youth lounge to the rear of the church.
Sunday Sparks is our Sunday children’s group. On arrival children and families join the main congregation for the first part of the service. After the opening worship and all age video/talk, children will leave the service with the group leaders and go to Sunday Sparks where they will stay until the end of the service. Sunday Sparks may include bible stories and video’s, craft and activities as well as singing and prayers. Sunday Sparks helps children start their journey to know and love Jesus.
